When you arrive at the Hyde Park Executive Apartments, you have to make sure you check out Hyde Park during your stay. Hyde Park is the largest of the Royal Parks in London. It was first established by King Henry VIII in 1536 but wasn’t open to the public until 1637 and it quickly became a popular location for May Day parades.

Hyde Park is also known for having many peaceful areas with beautiful scenic surroundings as well as notable cultural attractions that command the attention of tourists from around the UK and the world. Once such notable attraction, located quite centrally, is the main Serpentine Gallery with the Serpentine Sackler gallery also just moments away. They are situated either side of the Serpentine lake from which the Serpentine Galleries get their name.

The galleries are both free admission and are wheelchair accessible making them a great option to suit everyone’s needs. Each Summer a new architect is commissioned to develop a temporary Summer pavilion. The pavilion structures usually stand for 3 months during the Summer giving people lots of time to come and see the work of the design team.
